COMPANY PRODUCT RECEIVING, CLAIM & RETURN POLICY

The procurement team at Hook to Fork works tirelessly to source, procure and ship only the finest seafood, specialty meats and game, mushrooms, and caviar available. We gather these fresh products from many areas including Hawaii, Alaska, East, West and South coasts of the USA, Europe and beyond.

We have set high standards for quality with all vessels, packers, farms, and ranches, doing our utmost to ensure you receive exactly the products you will be proud to serve on your menu.

 

Unfortunately, from time to time not all items shipped arrive in their original quality condition. Whether caused by delivery delay, mishandling, or a packer mistake, all of us at Hook to Fork is dedicated to working on resolving the unforeseen issue in a timely fashion for all parties involved.

 

To that end, we have instituted the following policy regarding your receiving of all Hook to Fork Shipments either by FedEx, UPS or ground courier.

  • All products should be inspected by the customer upon arrival as soon as possible.
  • Claims for the damaged or unacceptable products must be made within 36 hours of receiving them.
  • Under no circumstances is rejected product to be disposed of without Hook to Fork
  • authorization. In the event you reject the product, it remains the property of Hook to Fork LLC and needs to be held for either return or disposal authorization & instructions.
  • Photo proof of your claim is required
  • Any rejected product authorized to be returned will be picked up in a timely fashion, with signed paperwork including pieces and weight.
  • In the event you dispose of the product before authorization, you own the product and are responsible to pay the associated invoice in full.
  • When a credit is authorized, PLEASE DO NOT SHORT PAY THE ORIGINAL INVOICE. We will issue you a new corrected invoice and notify you of the completed credit.
  • In all cases of questionable product, we will always try to work out an agreeable solution together, appreciating your cooperation in an unforeseen situation.
